My teaching methods are a combination of several factors:
- Studying the best bull riders of all time (view video)
- Observing the mental attitude common among the great champions
There are only 2 major areas involved in learning to ride bulls:
- A clear set of rules every bull rider must follow in order to make a successful ride
- Your mental attitude
Over the years I have seen some very talented bull riders defeated because they never developed focus, direction and a set of well-defined goals. Winning is 60% mental and 40% ability and the practice of this concept took me from an average bull rider (I started riding at age 19) to a world champion in less than two years. There is no magic spell, just dedication and commitment.
Bull riding is not for everyone and that's okay, but the information I teach applies to any sport, lifestyle or profession you may choose.
Meditation and positive thinking lectures are a big part of my school and the students love it! They help to reinforce your dedication after you leave. To familiarize yourself with these concepts and get you mentally prepared for the school I suggest purchasing my 2 CD set on positive thinking. Each CD covers a different lecture (students will receive a free set). Also, read the new best selling book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne.
